I agree with liking the first photo (soup can covering face). I like this one especially because it reminds me of someone who refuses to have their picture taken so instead covers their face with a nearby book or magazine. It struck me as something that one would see in real life.
I was thrilled that you used black and white pictures intstead of color. awesome. also, i think that they were all very social commentary-ish which i really liked. i dont know that you intended that but it works!
I like this. Warhol was edgy and I think your representations here were edgy, odd, out of place, but it all works.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite has to be the soup can as a face. It's kind of haunting, in a way. Especially with the "model" in the white bath robe.

ReplyDeleteI agree as well. My favorite was definitely the painting as the face. All of these pictures I feel were really fitting with this Warhol artwork.
